The three days

Day 1

The Royal Mile, castle to palace

The Castle at opening, St Giles', the buried street of Mary King's Close and down the Canongate to Holyrood.

Day 2

The New Town & Calton Hill

Georgian squares, the river village of Dean, Stockbridge, the National Gallery and sunset on Calton Hill.

Day 3

Arthur's Seat & the Grassmarket

Up the volcano in the morning, then the National Museum, Greyfriars, the Grassmarket and Victoria Street.
